Payment:
If you use a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, WooCommerce stores and processes your payment information through its secure system. This information is encrypted in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).

Your purchase information is retained only for as long as necessary to complete the transaction, after which it is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to PCI-DSS standards, as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which includes brands such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

• cart: unique token, persistent for 2 weeks; stores information about the contents of your cart.

• RETURNS POLICY – BRIKKIT (PTY) LTD

1. Return Period

Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

2. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return:

• The item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
• The item must be in the original packaging, with the seal untampered.
• Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) is required.

Exemptions: Certain items cannot be returned, including (but not limited to):

• Health and personal care products such as baby jelly, aqueous creams, and barrier creams.

⚠️ Please do not send products back to the manufacturer. A return address will be provided once Brikkit (Pty) Ltd has been contacted electronically at sales@brikkit.co.za.

3. Partial Refunds (if applicable)

Partial refunds may be granted for the following:

• Books with obvious signs of use.
• Opened media items such as CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, software, video games, cassette tapes, or vinyl records.
• Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts not due to our error.
• Items returned more than 14 days after delivery (only if pre-approved by Brikkit (Pty) Ltd).

4. Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, you will receive an email notifying you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

• If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment within a certain number of days.

5. Late or Missing Refunds (if applicable)

If you have not received your refund yet:

1. Re-check your bank account.
2. Contact your credit card company, as processing delays may occur.
3. Contact your bank, as there is often a delay before refunds are posted.

6. Sale Items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

7. Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.

If you need to exchange an item for the same product, please email us at sales@brikkit.co.za.

8. Gifts

• If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be sent to you.
• If the item was not marked as a gift, or the order was shipped to the gift giver, the refund will be sent to the gift giver.

9. Shipping

To return your product, please contact us at sales@brikkit.co.za. A return address will be provided once the return has been approved.

• Customers are responsible for paying their own shipping costs for returning items.
• Shipping costs are non-refundable. If a refund is approved, the return shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount.
• Depending on your location, the time it may take for exchanged products to reach you may vary.
• If you are returning an item valued over R300, we strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Brikkit (Pty) Ltd cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.

Order Confirmation

Once we receive confirmation of payment from you, your order will be dispatched, and you will receive a purchase notification via email. This notification serves as your official receipt.

Please ensure that you provide the correct email address and delivery address when placing your order.

If you do not receive a purchase notification, please contact us immediately at sales@brikkit.co.za.

Delivery in South Africa

We offer door-to-door delivery anywhere in South Africa. Delivery typically takes 1 – 6 working days, depending on your location.

We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and strive to deliver as quickly as possible.

Delivery Fee

• Free delivery on all orders over R1000 (anywhere in South Africa).
• For returns or exchanges, the courier’s standard rate will apply.

Delivery Timeframes

• Standard orders take 1 – 5 working days, but we always aim to get your package to you as quickly as possible.
• For most Gauteng deliveries, orders are often delivered same day or next day, provided there are no courier delays.
• If you require an urgent delivery, please contact us at sales@brikkit.co.za before placing your order to make arrangements.

Pre-Orders

• Orders containing pre-order items will only be dispatched once all items are available.
• Estimated pre-order dates are shown at checkout. Please note that shipment delays from suppliers may result in later dispatch.

General Terms

• If your package is delayed or not delivered, please contact us at sales@brikkit.co.za. Each case will be handled individually.
• Brikkit (Pty) Ltd cannot be held responsible for:
• Incorrect delivery details provided by the customer.
• Delays caused by weather, courier issues, or civil/political unrest.
• If a package must be re-sent because the customer was unavailable during delivery, or due to incorrect information supplied, Brikkit (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to charge for the additional delivery.
